Oktoberfest 2010, September 30th

So last Thursday my friend Bine and me went to the Oktoberfest. It was very nice and not so crowded.
The several roundsabouts are really stunning.
We met at the main entrance of the Oktoberfest.
Munich Masacre 1980 Memorial
I still have bad memories of that day because I was very close to the place when the bomb exploded. Me and my friends could have been victims too.
Even three little children aged 6 and 8 were killed.
Awesome horses of the breweries.
Inside the Hofbräuhaus tent. It is the biggest tent at the Oktoberfest and has place for 10500 people.
Silly stuff is being sold at the Oktoberfest. This year glasses with spotligts are the "big deal".
My friend Iris who is working at the Hofbräuhaus tent during Oktoberfest time and myself.

On Monday Oktoberfest will be over!! Thank God, because for someone who lives here just in the centre of town it is quite displeasing.

Good Oktoberfest advice !

Hi Folks,

here is a good advice for all of you – if you really want to enjoy the Munich Oktoberfest – do not come here during the weekends. I tell you, that you do not have a chance to get a place in the tents, if you are not invited from a firm or company, having a reservation or if you are a celebrity (but he or she will be also invited).

Come to Munich Oktoberfest during the week otherwise you will be frustrated. Even other popular places downtown will be full from 12:00 am on. Every tent on the Oktoberfest will be closed after 11:00 am, because of too many people. I really feel sorry sometimes of all the folks that come here to enjoy the event.

Best regards to all of you around the world and we are all happy to have you with us again in 2011.
